National Waste Awareness Day (HPSN) is celebrated every February 21. The Ministry of Environment declared February 21 2006 as National Waste Awareness Day for the first time. This warning appears above ideas and pressure from a number of parties to commemorate the events in Leuwigajah, Cimahi, West Java, on February 21 2005 where rubbish could become a killing machine that claimed the lives of more than 100 people.
